Sky Wars - A french film about this game
Sky Wars or Les Chevaliers du ciel in French, is a French film from 2005 directed by Gerard Pires about two air force pilots preventing a terrorist attack on the Bastille Day celebrations in Paris. The Sky Wars film is more or less based on this free online action game. The film starts out at the Farnborough Airshow where a demo Mirage 2000-5 is stolen. Captains Antoine Walkin Marchelli (Benoit Magimel) and Sebastien Fahrenheit Vallois (Clovis Cornillac) are instructed to escort it back. The pilots order the Mirage to return to the base, but the Mirage attacks Fahrenheit instead, and Walk'n immediately shots the Mirage saving his partner. However, the evidences are forged by the leader of a force called "Special Missions" and Walk'n is falsely accused of not following the orders and discharged from the air force. This movie was said to be "Top Gun" for a new generation.
